5. Pack and label strategically - Make sure your boxes are labeled correctly and packed well so you can get the boxes where they need to go, streamlining the process when time counts.
6. It's time to move - Streamline your moving by placing large items first, putting boxes in their designated rooms and begin unpacking immediately - one room at a time. Start with the important things like your clothes and a place to sleep. Then move on from there to the bathroom and kitchen.
7. It's time to decorate - Unpack all those new pillows and throws, hang the new (and old) art, and watch as the space comes to life around you.
By planning ahead, you save valuable time wondering what to do on moving day. Spend your time on moving weekend for the actual moving and be back in the easy chair by Sunday evening.
